1. Who we are
CleanCloud NZ ("we", "us") provides laundry washing, drying and folding with pickup and delivery services in Auckland, New Zealand. Our GST number is 126-037-325. You can reach us at info.cleancloudnz@gmail.com or +64 22 458 6125.
2. Agreement
By placing a booking through our website, by phone, or by handing items to our driver, you accept these terms. If you are booking on behalf of a business or another person, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
3. Service area and time slots
- We collect and deliver within 30km of the Auckland CBD.
- Pickups are available in two-hour windows: 8–10am, 10am–12pm, 12–2pm and 2–4pm. Bookings placed before 9am can be collected the same day; bookings placed after 9am are collected from the next available day.
- Same-day delivery is only available where the 8–10am pickup slot is selected and is subject to capacity.
- Time slots are estimates, not guarantees. Traffic, weather and volume can shift arrival times; we will keep you updated by email.
4. Pricing, GST and payment
- All prices shown on our website are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
- Quotes given at booking are estimates based on the services and load size you select. Where pricing depends on weight or item count, the final price is confirmed after your load is processed.
- You may pay online at booking or on delivery. Online payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details.
- Subscription plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and your plan runs to the end of the paid period.
- A GST tax invoice is available for every completed order on request.
5. Your items
- Please empty pockets and remove valuables, jewellery, cash, electronics and personal items before pickup. We are not liable for loss or damage to items left inside garments.
- Tell us about stains, delicate fabrics, non-colourfast items, embellishments or items without care labels when you book. Some items cannot be safely cleaned and may be returned untreated.
- We may decline items that are contaminated, hazardous, infested, soiled with biological waste, or that pose a health and safety risk to our team.
6. Your rights under New Zealand law
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other New Zealand law that cannot be excluded. Where you acquire our services for business purposes, the parties agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, to the extent permitted by section 43 of that Act.
Our services will be carried out with reasonable care and skill, be fit for purpose, and be completed within a reasonable time. If we fail to meet those guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy — see our refunds and returns policy.
7. Our liability
- Where we are responsible for loss or damage to an item, our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or compensation calculated on the depreciated value of the item (generally up to ten times the cleaning charge for that item), unless the Consumer Guarantees Act requires otherwise.
- We are not liable for pre-existing wear, shrinkage, colour bleed, or damage caused by manufacturing faults or incorrect care labels.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, except where the law does not allow that exclusion.
8. Missed pickups and uncollected items
- If nobody is home and no safe collection point has been agreed, we will contact you and may charge a failed-collection fee for repeat occurrences.
- Items not collected or accepted within 90 days of us notifying you may be treated as abandoned and disposed of or donated, in line with the Disputes Tribunal's expectations for reasonable notice.
9. Cancellations and changes
You can change or cancel a booking free of charge up to 12 hours before your pickup window. Later cancellations, or cancellations after our driver has arrived, may incur a call-out fee. See our refunds and returns policy for full details.
10. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and our privacy policy.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version published at the time of your booking applies to that booking. These terms are governed by New Zealand law and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.
